Hobo Signs by Matias Romero is a free sign dingbat font built around stark geometric symbols. The collection mixes circles, crossed forms, framed panels, angular marks, and architectural shapes, all drawn with assertive strokes and a deliberately uneven range of proportions.
It gives wayfinding graphics a coded, improvised voice. The symbols also suit experimental posters, music packaging, game interfaces, and event merchandise built around cryptic pictograms and unfamiliar markings. Each one can function as an emblem or map marker, allowing the font to become part of an illustration rather than serving only as text.
