Gramophone by Nick Curtis is a free retro display font with broad, theatrical capitals. Its uneven stroke widths, sharp wedges, and heavy slab-like feet recall hand-cut lettering from early entertainment posters. The shapes are forceful but cheerfully irregular.
Vintage music and vaudeville themes make it a natural fit for concert posters, record packaging, and event signage. For restaurant branding and merchandise, the letters can become an illustrated marquee or period shop sign, not merely text.
