Gotham Nights Bold Font

Gotham Nights Bold, credited to Neale Davidson, is a free condensed sans serif with towering letterforms, dense vertical strokes, broad squared shoulders, blunt corners, and rounded arches that keep the silhouette severe and architectural. Clipped inner spaces add a distinctly mechanical edge.

The compact, forceful drawing translates well to both sports posters and nightclub branding, and its hard-edged architectural character also fits large downtown signage. For album covers and game interfaces, the very tall letters can become a row of lit towers, a compact architectural title treatment that behaves as part of a dark urban scene rather than neutral text.
