Furmanite Italic Font

Furmanite Italic by Neale Davidson is a free techno display font defined by a hard forward slant and sharply engineered forms with blade-like corners. Thin crossbars and sudden stroke changes sharpen its mechanical profile.

The speed-driven shapes suit motorsport branding and game title cards, but their angular precision also feels at home on electronic music posters and science-fiction packaging. Across those settings, repeated wedges, narrow gaps, and the forceful lean turn the lettering into a compact emblem of speed and machine-age futurism.

This typeface is based on the lettering used by the Maximals in the BotCon-exclusive comic “Critical Mass.” The left and right braces are replaced with Maximal and Predacon insignia, respectively. It includes italic and bold versions.
