Ekushey Azad, un carattere serif gratuito in stile antico realizzato dai collaboratori di ekushey.org, vanta un tono letterario e calligrafico, con un contrasto elevato e dettagli affilati e rifiniti. Le lettere appaiono formali senza mai risultare rigide, mescolando forme ampie e solenni con alcune diagonali vivaci e giunture compatte che mantengono il ritmo dinamico.
È quindi una scelta naturale per copertine di libri, poster culturali, titoli editoriali, inviti e per il branding di musei o enti culturali, dove c’è bisogno di un font gratuito che trasmetta autorevolezza.
