e-Pececito Font

e-Pececito by deFharo is a free techno display font with dense, geometric letterforms and a deliberately coded appearance. Broad solid shapes dominate each character, broken by sharp notches, small square openings, and occasional diamond cuts that make the alphabet look assembled from custom symbols. The silhouettes feel compact and machine-stamped.

Games are the clearest medium for it, especially title screens, puzzle graphics, and fictional control panels that benefit from lettering resembling a system of chunky mechanical signs. The same emblem-like construction suits electronic music packaging and streetwear merchandise, linking those uses through a blunt industrial shape rather than conventional type.

This typeface is constructed primarily from the three components of my logo mark: the little fish.

For most letters, I use only these three elements. I use addition and subtraction, as well as positive and negative space, to construct all the letters.

In some cases, I duplicate one of these shapes so that the typeface contains as many glyphs as possible.
