Dropping Font

Dropping by Billy Argel is a free brush script with broad, rounded strokes and a lively, uneven flow. The letters lean and swell at different points, combining compact joins with long downward sweeps that give the line an informal, hand-painted silhouette.

Restaurant packaging and album artwork are different settings, but both suit lettering that feels informal and freshly painted by hand. On wrappers and labels, the soft forms suggest a casual place rather than a polished corporate chain. The same sweeping shapes also suit event posters and festival merchandise, where the lettering can become part of an energetic illustrated scene.
