Doris Day by Mario Arturo is a free handwritten font with a tall, airy silhouette and the sweep of quickly drawn lettering. Its narrow forms stretch into long loops and flourishes, with changing stroke widths and oversized capitals supplying much of the drama. The line stays lively and unpolished.
For fashion branding, the lettering can turn a name into an expressive wordmark, especially on boutique packaging and beauty products where its elongated shapes feel suitably stylish. It also suits music posters and personal invitations, where the looping strokes can echo ribbon, thread, or loose line illustration and become part of the artwork rather than a neutral caption.

A few years ago I made the lower cases and then combined them my font "Individual" (caps I traced from "The ABC of Lettering by J.I. Biegeleisen") I was never happy with this combination of fonts and it has been bothering me for years. Finally I sat down and added number, punctuations and the capital letters "Doris Day" deserved. I also reshaped some of the original letters. Now "Individual" it's on it's own again.
