DK Trashtype by David Kerkhoff is a free eroded display font with the sturdy bones of an old slab serif. Broad, uneven letters carry chipped edges, scattered pinholes, and rough patches that resemble battered ink. The damage varies across the forms, keeping the texture convincingly irregular.
It can turn a poster or album cover into a piece of worn print, and it also suits distressed packaging. The broken ink makes the lettering part of the artwork.
