DK Spiderlegs Blackened by David Kerkhoff is a free distorted display font with towering, pinched letters and abrupt shifts between hairline strokes and dense black forms. Stretched curves give it a wiry, sinister silhouette.
Halloween posters and alternative music artwork both benefit from its mix of spindly tension and blunt weight. It also suits horror packaging and offbeat event graphics, especially when the lettering becomes part of the unsettling imagery. The same warped silhouette links these theatrical uses.
