Demento by Kevin Christopher is a free eroded display font with tall, tightly packed letters and a frantic scratched surface. Ragged edges, uneven widths, and dense crosshatching give the forms the look of lettering hacked into a worn wall.
That abrasive texture can drive both horror posters and punk merchandise, linking cinematic menace with photocopied music graphics. It also suits game title cards and distressed packaging built around decay, damage, or urban grit. Horror is its clearest home.
