Datacron Font

Datacron, designed by Neale Davidson in 2012, is a free futuristic display font with broad, weighty forms and a sleek machine-made finish. Rounded outer curves meet squared openings and abrupt cut-ins, producing lettering that feels engineered rather than simply geometric.

A science-fiction game interface is its most convincing setting, especially for menus and navigation. It also suits technology branding, electronic music artwork, and event posters built around a clean retro-future theme. In those contexts, the letters can become part of the interface itself, echoing panels, tracks, and illuminated controls.
