Crysis Bold, created by Romochka in 2007, is a free futuristic display font with an extremely wide, streamlined profile. Rounded corners and long horizontal strokes give the letters the look of a sleek control panel. The forms stay light and open despite their span.
Science fiction is its natural setting, and the broad mechanical shapes suit game interfaces, film title cards, technology branding, and event graphics. It is most convincing when the lettering becomes part of a futuristic interface rather than a decorative extra.
