Chape Open by Masayo Shimojima is a free curly display font with a buoyant, hand-drawn silhouette. Its rounded strokes swell and narrow unpredictably, forming soft loops and pinched joins. Repeated inner lines give the letters a loose, ribbon-like construction.
It is especially suited to playful packaging, where the looping forms can become part of a product's graphic identity. Music posters and fashion merchandise can also use its relaxed curves. Beside floral illustration, the doubled lines echo petals and curling stems.
