CF Night Of The Damned by Cloutier Fontes is a free eroded horror display font with tall, heavy capitals and a battered print texture. Its uneven edges, scraped interiors, and occasional ink-like drips resemble a damaged woodblock poster. The narrow letters pack together with blunt, imposing force.
Midnight horror is its natural territory, especially on Halloween posters and haunted-house signage. Album covers and game title screens can use the distressed surface to suggest grime, age, or menace. Monsters, decay, and slasher-film imagery suit it best.
