Catenary Stamp by CC Marshall of Active Depth is a free eroded display font with broad, forceful capitals and the uneven bite of heavily inked type. Ragged edges and scattered gaps give the letters a convincing stamped texture.
Designers drawn to industrial or distressed themes will find it useful for posters and merchandise. Its blunt shapes also suit brewery packaging and rugged event graphics. Against weathered photography or screen-printed illustrations, the broken texture can become part of the surface rather than separate lettering.
