Abur by Erwin Denissen of High-Logic is a free groovy display font built from swollen, irregular strokes. Its letters look soft and hand-shaped, with rounded ends, pinched joins, and uneven widths that make each form slightly unpredictable. The changing proportions give a line of text a loose, oddball silhouette.
Posters are a natural medium for this strange organic lettering, particularly for experimental music events, comedy nights, and offbeat children's entertainment. On album covers and merchandise, the bulbous forms can mingle with blobs, creatures, or liquid patterns, turning a title into part of the illustration rather than leaving it as neutral text.
