The Commuter by eking of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free transit-sign dingbat font built from stark directional symbols. Its pictograms use solid rectangular strokes, squared corners, and compact arrowheads, recalling the functional graphics of stations and vehicle interiors. The forms are blunt and highly geometric, with no decorative texture.
Urban travel and wayfinding are the obvious themes, making the set useful for transport posters, map graphics, event signage, and editorial pieces about commuting. Its strongest role is in travel-related design, where the arrows and simplified sign shapes can act as both public information marks and clear recurring graphic motifs.
