Nabatea by deFharo is a free decorative display font with jagged, sharply cut letterforms. Uneven stroke widths and skewed joins give the capitals a rough-hewn silhouette, with narrow gaps and abrupt angles recurring across the alphabet.

Nabatea is a typeface carved with a hammer into hard stone by an individual from the ancient Nabataean people of Arabia Petraea, between the Red Sea and the Euphrates River. It is a tribute to Petra, the Nabataean capital.
