Munir Font

Munir is a free portrait dingbat font built around stark, stencil-like faces. Each character presents a cropped human likeness, with rough edges and broad areas of solid ink recalling photocopied protest graphics. Some portraits appear inside square or circular frames.

A cultural organization or socially minded label could use it for campaign posters, event merchandise, and editorial features. The faces can function as recurring badges or visual markers across a series, rather than ordinary lettering. Its strongest setting is a commemorative poster, where the portrait itself becomes the central emblem.

Munir Said Thalib was an Indonesian human rights and anti-corruption activist. He was born on December 8, 1965, in Malang, East Java, and died on September 7, 2004.
