Hacklaviva by Pedro Amado of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free techno display font built from tall, rigid strokes and sharply cut geometric forms. Diagonal openings give the lettering its machine-made edge.
A science-fiction game interface is its clearest setting, since the squared construction and sliced interiors resemble lettering assembled from panels, circuits, or industrial markings. The same severe angles suit electronic music posters and merchandise, and they could shape technology branding around a stark, coded emblem, with the repeated diagonal gaps linking the lettering to interface icons and other modular graphics rather than more conventional corporate sans serif typography.
