Nota dell'autore

Electroharmonix by Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts Inc. is a free Japanese-inspired display font built from heavy, geometric strokes. Its broad forms combine squared corners with sweeping curves, echoing the construction of katakana and hiragana. The lettering feels compact and mechanical, but angled cuts keep it lively.

Technology branding and pop-culture posters are very different settings, yet both suit its fusion of machine-made structure and Japanese letterforms. It can also shape arcade game graphics and music packaging with a clear late-night city feel. The strongest context is Japanese-themed science fiction, electronic music, or gaming, where the script-like silhouettes become part of the genre itself.

The font was redrawn in a bolder style using katakana and several kanji characters, with no hiragana. It includes improved kerning, punctuation, mathematical symbols, fractions, numeric ordinals, and three types of brackets. Double quotation marks were replaced with Japanese angle quotes, long dashes with double dashes, and the asterisk is based on the kanji symbol for rice. The question mark uses the conventional question-mark form, and the ellipsis consists of dots rather than rings.
