Cave Carvings by Font Fiend of FontShop International GmbH is a free angular display font built from tall, sharply cut letterforms. Deep diagonal notches break the narrow strokes into stark, primitive-looking shapes.
Its rock-cut, prehistoric reference makes it especially convincing for dramatic museum exhibitions and historical publishing concerned with archaeology or early cultures. The same severe geometry can bring an ancient-world edge to adventure game graphics and theatrical fantasy merchandise without relying on ornate period lettering.
