Bromance, designed by Emilio Ignozza of FontStruct, is a free groovy display font built from the swollen curves and soft flared serifs associated with 1970s lettering. Its extremely heavy shapes sit close together and roll along in a broad uneven silhouette with small white openings, deep notches, and gently pinched joins.
Brands aimed at record collectors, vintage-fashion shoppers, or a young nightlife crowd can use its warm psychedelic look for album artwork, clothing graphics, and bar identities steeped in a friendly 1970s atmosphere. Festival posters and playful food packaging are equally convincing when bubbly lettering becomes part of the illustration.
